I use this site as an alembic for my fiction research, primarily essentialized as the occasional weird bit of news or interesting tidbit of pop culture ephemera. Memwar is the name of the cycle of novels I’ve been constructing inside out using a network of blogs and hypertextual reference points since the mid-nineties, and which I expect to publish over the coming years-it is one of several fiction projects of varying sizes upon which I am currently working. I’m somewhat obsessed with polysemic doublevoicedness, codes, anagrams, and the oblique strategies required to wage a successful 5GW campaign, so all of that is going in there, as well as the various absurdities on-going in the weekly news cycles. In short, this is a constant churning space filled with things I find interesting. It is easiest to understand this as an ongoing social media art project involving a number of text machines tied to my digital shadow.
Regarding professional inquiries, feel free to follow up with me at Linkedin where I focus more on my professional work with twitter and other social media channels. I have in the past coached clients on maximizing their social media presence to enable marketing strategies through new media channels. I am constructing a course in ‘becoming a public individual’ through online social optimization over the next few months, and you can see the logo above for this current non-fiction work. The logo and theme modifications are the work of Domozych Media, in return for the work I’ve done for his site.
All those on Twitter can follow me across a number of different twitter profiles by keeping an eye on @wesunruh which is my primary twitter account, and which scrolls to the left on the screen if you’re reading this from the normal blog page on a desktop computer. I also developed a podcast, which is currently running, and I produce it under the moniker @promemetician, through which I am able to generate the infictive county @raidokaos account, as a way to begin growing out the media base for @aelturnity, something I learned how to do while I worked on @alterati and co-wrote, edited, then self-published and marketed @artofmemetics. And, of course, there is also @sloppyunruh, available by clicking the image of the bird on the right side of the screen, which tracks the latest nodes entered into my Memwar slush pile I continue to curate.
Most of my online footprint is experimentation, both with the infictive current and the application of new media tools. Twitter has become the most convenient cross-platform web app online, and I try to make the most of it. Everything digital is perpetually accreted while also being adapted forward to new design.. a perpetual problematic addendum, if you will. Even this small description of my online presence is subject to modification at times.
